Bio

Bellatrix is completely and utterly devoted to the Dark Lord. She beleives fully and rather blindly in his cause, and doesn't consider any of her horrible actions have anything but good effects. Any and every thing Bella does is for Voldemort. She is incredibly humble and submissive when in the presence of Voldemort, but when around her fellow Death Eaters, or those rare occasions she is forced to be in conctact with Muggles, Half-Bloods, or other Purebloods (without attacking them), she has a haughty, arrogant temper. She considers herself near royalty, with her 'flawless' bloodline, and status as the 'favorite' of the Dark Lord. Bella treats everyone except her husband as beneath her, she is the most beautiful, and while not the most powerful, she is bloody close. She's a masochist in the most literal sense of the word. She enjoys pain for herself ( i.e. sex, and some self-mutilation in the name of the Dark Lord), and gets an immense pleasure from causing pain to others. She is fiercely loyal to Voldemort, her sister, and her husband. Anyone else isn't worth her loyalty, and, if the orders command it, she would have no qualms about turning her back on any one of her fellow DEs.

Bella is a very tall, imposing woman. She was a great beauty before she was carted off to Azkaban, but the years spent there, and for a short while afterwards, she was reduced to a thin, almost skeletal, ugly figure. Soon after the attack inside the Ministry and the death of her cousin, she regained her health and most of her former beauty. Bella has long, dark brown hair, clear skin, and brown, heavily lidded eyes

Born to Cygnus and Druella Black in London, Bella grew up on a steady diet of Pure Blood pride and vanity. Her father was only thirteen when she was born, and her mother only 16. Her and her two sisters, Andromeda and Narcissa were very close growing up. While Narcissa looked nothing of her two sisters, Bella always found herself jealous of her older sister, whom she affectionately nicknamed 'Cissy.' Her sister cared for her, and Bella was, and still is, tremendously loyal to her older sister. The two were inseperable, often discluding their youngest sibling, Andromeda (whose existence Bellatrix today resents). From a young age, Bella was intended to marry her cousin, Sirius. Later on, when he ran away from home, Bella was devastated. She never cared much for him, but the thought of being married to someone who had disgraced their family so was intolerable. Her father immediately retracted the betrothment, and Bella wound up marrying a good friend, Rodolphus Lestrange. Surprisingly, they were a perfect match, both vain, and very proud of their ancestry. They had become friends in Slytherin during school, and when Bella told him of Sirius' fiasco, he extended an offer of marriage for a later date. Bella was married two years later at eighteen. She loved Rodolphus very much, but their married life was a strange one. They never had a single argument. They shared the same thoughts on the only 'important' issues (ignoring any and all others) and any possible stirring of conflict between the two was resolved by the Dark Lord once they joined as Death Eaters. Their combined loyalty and blind devotion to Him shot them up the ranks to his top DEs. There were whispers of an affair between Tom Riddle and Bella, and she would deny vehemently such a notion publicly at that time. After torturing the Longbottoms into insanity, Bella refused to deny her involvement, thus establishing herself as a leader of DEs. She landed herself in Azkaban. She's also developed the habit of having breif affairs with some other DEs, in a sad attempt to make the Dark Lord notice her as a woman. Despite all this, she keeps the image of a perfectly devoted wife.

She also enjoys fine wine and harlequin romance novels, often at the same time.
